Description

TAMRA Dichlorotriazine is a hydroxyl reactive red dye used to generate stable fluorescence signals in bioimaging. The maximum Ex/Em value is 550/571 nm, similar to the values of DyLight 549, ATTO 550 and Cy 3. TAMRA can be excited using 543 or 546 nm laser lines and displays excellent optical properties. TAMRA dyes are characterized by high absorption, quantum yield and water solubility. These properties allow for high purity and compatibility with a variety of biomolecules, making them widely utilized in oligonucleotide labeling and automated DNA sequencing applications.
