Description

Lectin-FSD 647 is a fluorescence labeled carbohydrate binding protein or glycoprotein that FSD fluorophore is covalently attached to lectin. The maxima of Ex/Em values are at 653/671 nm. Lectins display high, specific affinity to sugar residues thereby enable to distinguish subtle alteration in glycosylation otherwise indistinguishable cells. FSD 647 is a bright red dye that developed by BioActs’ cutting-edge technology displaying excellent optical property comparing to spectrally similar dyes. Fluorescence-conjugated lectins are versatile carbohydrate detecting probes in microscopy, histochemistry and flow cytometry.
